Office of the Vice President

The Office of the Vice President provides strategic direction for the division as well as support and resources for all units to achieve their goals. Associate Vice President Kellie Page oversees all centralized business functions and support for the entire division.

Business Service Center (BSC): Provide stewardship of University and customer resources in the division.  Strive to standardize processes and procedures related to financial activity across the division.  Scope of services includes: financial transaction processing, financial management, budget development and support, reporting, financial analysis, policy and procedure communication, training and regulatory compliance.  Serve as the liaison with the Division of Financial Affairs and the University Audit Office.
Director: Sharon Baum (dual reporting line to the Associate Vice President for the Division of Financial Affairs/University Controller)

Communications: Oversee all aspects of the division’s strategic communications and marketing, with the goals of raising the visibility of SCL activities both external and internal to the University, and unifying the division's communications through coordinated messages and approaches.  Facilitate the strategic planning, execution, and maintenance of effective communication efforts across the division.  Serve as the liaison to University Communications.

External Relations: Work in collaboration with Alumni Affairs and Development to build awareness and support, both internally and externally, for the fundraising priorities in SCL. Facilitate opportunities for the VP of SCL and other senior staff within the division to maximize donor engagement. Serve as the development liaison to the units within SCL for alumni, parents, and friends of the university.
Assistant Director: Justina DeMott

Facilities Management: Student and Campus Life Facilities Management (SCL-FM) provides facilities support for the division.  SCL-FM is the division's direct liaison with Infrastructure Properties and Planning and is the “go to” for anything building related.  Our Facilities Managers partner directly with Infrastructure Properties and Planning to identify and address corrective, planned and preventive maintenance issues.  SCL-FM develops the Capital Plan for SCL and collaborates with Infrastructure Properties and Planning to coordinate all projects.
Director: Karen Muckstadt (dual reporting line to the Vice President of Infrastructure Properties and Planning)

Information Technology: Provides information technology services and support to the division and the Vice Provost of Enrollment.  Services include application development, application support, business analysis, project and portfolio management, infrastructure and desktop/client support. 
Director:  Don Sevey (dual reporting line to the Vice Provost for Enrollment and Associate CIO)

SCL Human Resources: SCL HR is part of the Administrative Human Resource team that provides advice and guidance on strategic human resource initiatives and support for a range of human resource services which include:  HR Strategy, Organizational Design, Recruitment, Compensation and Job Design, Staff/Labor Relations, Policy and Contract Interpretation, Transactions, Information Management & Reports. 
Director: Melanie Ciotoli (dual reporting line to the Director of Administrative Human Resources)

Assessment and Planning: Lead and coordinate institutional effectiveness activities across the division.  Facilitate strategic, annual, and student learning outcomes planning for SCL. Consult and coordinate training to develop and implement operational and student learning outcomes assessment plans to result in continuous program improvement and effective resource management within the division.  Coordinate and report on data analysis of assessment results and program outcomes.
